We know that now-a-days everyone is bombarded with information surrounding the importance of healthy eating and keeping healthy. Government adverts, gyms popping up everywhere, fad diets and strings of documentaries have adults quaking in their boots whenever they think about the implications of eating a cheeseburger. Don’t worry, we get scared too! But remember, keeping healthy and fit is about a balanced diet and a physical exercise.
Of course, at Xtreme, we promote keeping healthy and fit, but there is no need to be unhappy doing so. Keeping children busy during the summer months can be a tough task. It’s warm, they are bored, and you are trying not to pull your hair out. Why not leave them with us for our well-run Summer Camp programmes which are held at two convenient locations, Courtlough and Carton House?
Our camps are designed to have your child at mind. They stimulate both the mind and the body and are a fun, healthy way for your children to stay active. Our team building activities are learning exercises which teach your child the importance of teamwork. At the end of each day, the children will have had an exhilarating, informative and proactive day. Before leaving at 1.30pm daily, they will be briefed on the following day’s activities, building the excitement and anticipation for their next activities.
Our competitive price of €95pp is sure to leave a smile on your face too! Rest assured that the children will be well looked after from the hours of 9am until 1.30pm Monday to Friday. Children will take part in a broad range of activities including Team Challenges, Archery, High Ropes, Climbing, Giant Swing and much much more. The age range suitable for this course is 7-16.
The camp runs every week during July and August and sign up starts on the Monday of the respective week at 9am – 9.30am. Lunch break is supervised and is held at 11.30am. We would like to remind any parents/guardians of children in the camp that they must provide their children with lunches. An extra reminder that lots of drinks should be packed as it may be hot and the children will partake in lots of physical exercise during the day. For safety reasons, children must be picked up by a parent daily.

Whether your team are the Barcelona of Sunday League, or the United of the Wednesday league, there is always room for team building to fuel the bond of a team. Sometimes it doesn’t matter whether you are winning or losing, it’s about the enjoyment of being active, and being part of something bigger. Although it’s fair to say that teams who have come to visit us in the past have had a noticeable improvement in success rates! With this goal in mind, we’re serious about making your sports teams ascend to peak performance.
We should mention that it’s not just sports teams that can benefit from team building at our Courtlough location, it can be any social club, including book clubs, fishing clubs or college societies. Don’t forget, you don’t need to be a sports star to enjoy having a fulfilling and beneficial team building day here!
Overview of the benefits of team building exercises:
1. Helps build relationships between team players.
2. Helps players understand their role within the group and see themselves as part of the bigger picture.
3. It teaches players to effectively communicate with one another.
