What You Need to Know Before You Book the School Tour

Posted on January 27th, 2014

So you’ve read our last post, and are excited about our formula to create the very best school tour.

Where do you start?

Before you even start doing anything, there are some things that you need to be aware of before you book the school tour

Parents, Guardians, Coaches and Teachers: Listen Up

1.         Health and Safety – Garda Vetting, Training and Accolades

You can easily avoid health and safety horror stories with Xtreme.ie. Our teams have:

  1. Extensive insurance cover
  2. First aid training
  3. Full Garda vetting

It’s crucial that you know that you are entitled to check this information about school tour companies yourself, and we can’t stress enough that you should do this.

For full information on Xtreme.ie’s health and safety standards, you can contact us at any time and speak directly to a member of our team about any concerns you may have or to request this information.

2.       Cost for Students and Teachers –

Make sure to check your costs – and keep them down with Xtreme.ie!

Just like everyone else we’re feeling the pinch in our own lives, and strive to keep our pricing down as much as we can while maintain high standards of quality and safety.

3.       A fun and engaging environment to learn and have fun.

We passionately believe that is possible to have energetic fun and learn at the same time – and that the information sticks better when it’s experienced! Here are some examples of how this works:

  1. Learn about blood flow and blood pressure with the exhilaration of zip lining
  2. Explore our forested location – who knows what you’ll pick up along the way
  3. Test the knowledge of your students afterwards
  4. Having a lesson associated with a fun memory ensures that that knowledge will stick around far longer than any facts jotted down on a page
  5. Let your students get some much-needed stress release outside and away from the classroom – they’ll thank you for it!

School tours can be experiences that last a lifetime in the memories of your students and children. Foster a feeling of well-being and togetherness with warm memories that will stay with them forever.
